Should 50% of the blame go to Mayweather Sr.?

This fight could turn out to be similar to Mike Anchondo vs Jorge Barrios. Anchondo( who was a multi dimensional boxer) struggled with the weight and it was also a title shot. Barrios brought the pressure on him and made him fight, and stopped in about 3 rounds because Anchondo was unsure of himself and was worried that the weight would have an effect on him in the long run, and it did as he was very weak and couldn't get anything off. (Anchondo was also unbeaten just like Guzman)

However, I can't see Guzman acting like Barrios did in that fight.
Guzman is a confident man. No way he acts like Anchondo. And Barrios buried Anchondo, I don't see it messing with Guzman as much.
I just don't see that scenario.

You know though Pac man did the same thing at flyweight back in the day and got ko'ed (but then he was pretty young)

Good points, however Guzman has never been in this position before so we don't really know how he will react. Either way he has to feel weaken by it and he has also been inactive and Campbell has that pressure style to test his body. Then lets to the equation that Guzman is fighting in his highest weight class.

(Anchono also lost his titles on the scales)

Just scanned the net, Mayweather Sr. blames Guzman nutritionist and conditioning coach David Buer for Guzman not making weight.

Mayweather Sr. passing the blame, no way! Although in this case, he's partially right. If Guzman hires some guy whose JOB it is to ensure that he makes weight the right way, and then he doesn't then I'd say that's failure to do your job. Maybe all that extra muscle will help his punching power now. Then again, maybe it'll just slow his reactions and speed. I vote for the latter.

So regardless of the result Nate will still be a major player at 135 by default, d****d in 3 belts. Irrelevant. Campbell will get his respect and pummel Joan Guzman.

You don't come in that much over weight unless it's intensional.

Guzman is a cheap bastard who fights in the wrong weight class because if he fought people his size he'd be ko'd. ***** always has hard time making weight.
