Does Guzman forfeit his entire purse to Campbell now?

          the way it is.

80% of people watching wont even know about the weight issue or wont care.

are you serious? this Campbell-Guzman fight was being advertised as a title fight, lol.

go on sho.com and click the fight link for it and you'll see in blue letters IBF/WBA/WBO Lightweight Championship.

and i would think the showtime announcers would mention the fact of why none of Campbell's 3 belts are on the line.

the mainstream media won't give a ****, but I would think that at least close to the 80% would be well aware by fight time that Campbell-Guzman ain't for any of the 3 titles.

and impressive or not, it'll be like when Castillo came in overweight and beat Chico ... a pretty meaningless fight.

They gave Guzman 2 hours to make te weight, but he didn't show up in those 2 hours because obviously he didn't make the weight. They gonna fight but not for the titles.

He'll pay a penalty, but nobody fights for free.

He'll still get the majority of his purse. He has to pay his trainers and if you make him fight for free he might just go into the tank, leaving a lot of pissed off fans and Showtime executives. My guess is he'll lose about 20%.

I know its advertised as a title fight and the announcers will surely bring it up, but your average viewer doesnt give a ****. And yea im dead serious.

i never said they wouldnt be aware, i said they wouldnt care. Your average poerson wont care if the guy made weight or not, they are still fighting. And the winner will be remembered more in the long run even if he didnt make weight.
