It is a disrespect to the entire boxing community when a boxer can't make weight. It isn't like he had 2 weeks to prepare. He had months to make weight. He didn't even come close to making weight. He didn't bother to get weighed.

Campbell should nix the fight, who knows how much Guzman is going to ballon to. He(Guzman) is closer to junior welterweight than lightweight.

I mean Pacquiao struggled to make weight even though he almost died just to make 130 and still beat Marquez ass and knock him down.. Guzman had almost 1 year to prepare for this fight.. He should retire, that's what should happen for ****y fighters..

Honestly, if he beats Campbell impressively i dont think it will matter. Belts dont mean much now adays.

Im not saying its right but thats how it is.

yeah true, weight advantages are too much of a risk though especially for a fight that determines the make-up of the lightweight top tier.

Did Floyd Sr not notice this weight problem today, last night? I'm not too sure how much of an eye the trainer or nutritionist will keep on the weight and how often the fighters weighed in camp. Anyone have any info?

i know someone who has trained with guzy and he is rumored to wak around at 170. for soto, he weighed in at 130 for the fight and weighed 147 the next day come fight time.... it sucks for him cause he was barely a puncher at super bantamweight....

At this moment I was really excited for the fight and now Im thinking it just shouldnt happen. He drops out of the Alex Arthur fight in May (which he would of dominated) and then this. Damn, what a ****ed up guy.....

It won't mean anything given that he is closer to junior welterweight limit than the lightweight limit. He might weigh 155 lbs come fight night.

He was actually a devastating puncher at super bantam. As he moved up though i dunno what happened he lost it big time.

He didn't even bother trying to weigh himself in.
