Where do you get your facts from. Mexico and Philippines standard of living is more or less the same. I've been to Puerto Vallarta and Cabo, also Ensenada and Tijuana, very reminiscent of resorts and slums in the Philippines, kid.

Mexico is the 14th largest economy in the world(this is the figure that all the idi*t Mexicans like to rebut with), but at the same time its economy is also ranked as having the 3rd highest debt in the world.

Yeah, you guys are so rich that there are MILLIONS upon MILLIONS of illegal Mexicans in US.... Thats the point.... PI is poor but we dont DRAIN the economy of another country because of it.... Why do I have to pay for your countrymens healthcare, education, incarceration, etc..etc... Good ole USA wants nothin' to do with the 14th largest economy in the world, except for their Free Trade Agreement(hehe). They would go through legal channels but the current immigration laws make it virtually impossible even though their labor is in high demand. Do you honestly think the situation would be any different if another poor country was located beside the US and jobs were being offered to immigrants as soon as they crossed the border? If China neighbored the U.S., it would be known as Northern China by now.
Candidates like Romney have tried running on an anti-immigrant platform but they couldnt even get the support of their fellow **********s. Right wingers sure do love using Mexican immigrants as scapegoats yet they never address the issue.
