It's ironic how the things you're saying about Mexican immigrants are the very same things racists say about African Americans and Nativists said about immigrants from past generations. I'm really convinced you and Mesgago speak for all Americans, the two of you should seriously consider running for higher office. Hell, I'll even spot you guys my vote and offer a campaign slogan: "Mesgago-Domain, a change you can believe in. P.S., We hate Mexicans"

I know what you're sayin D, one of my best buds is dark skinned Dominican and when we went to Miami, Cubans were acting kinda strange... Couldnt figure it out cuc theres alot of dark skinned Cubans.... Found out that theres alot of prejudice within latins and amongst latin groups... It is what it is....Comment

Listen I am sick of it! I have never had a biased word to a mexican before! I heard about the tension between mexicans and blacks in cali but then when I came here I seen first hand how messed up downtown LA and parts of northern cali are! I have experienced the most racism in my life not from a White man, not from a pinoy or asian, but from a MEXICAN!
And all of this racism is only in 1 year recently! I never even experienced this type of blatant low class kinda people in my life.
I visited dowtown LA and it was crowded with mexicans which many were illegal and selling **** on the street, I was driving and they didnt even move just walking blocking the street and some idiot spit on my car and then grabbed his crotch at me! I swear I wanted to scream la migra and that fool.
I feel bad for the city its ****** they just throw **** on the ground and made it look like little TJ.
I am not biased because I am actually there! I never had this kinda view till I Actually visited these areas. I admit I have a problem witht he Blacks who are lazy in the south too.
I just cannot stand people who are ignorant, low class, lazy and lack education.Comment

There are always going to be racists in society and youre being extremely naive if you believe other groups arent racists as well. Most will just bite their tongue when their in public but that old Mexican dude obviously didnt realize you understood him.
Chino isnt a derogatory term in Latin America, it simply refers to Asian people. It's no different than the way gringos refer to Native Americans as Indians even though their asses arent from India.
Chinito is actually an affectionate term and Mexicans often give themselves nicknames based on their appearance including Chino if they happen to have Asian features. In fact, I recently saw a tv interview with JMM and the reporter (who was also his friend) referred to him as "Chino".Comment

The typical Mexican neighborhood does not resemble downtown LA which has been dilapidated for decades. Most live in typical neighborhoods in homes just like everyone else.. well except for an extra cousin or two.. or three.
The tension between blacks and mexicans is mostly media hype. Black on black or mexican on mexican crime doesnt get any publicity but a crime that involves a black and a mexican always makes headline news. There were plenty of mexicans, blacks and filipinos in the neighborhood I grew up in and everyone got along fine.Comment

I know there is racism I ain't naive but I just never experienced it as much as with the mexicans in cali.
To be honest Chino is a affectionate term only when puerto ricans and guys from that part say it...when the mexicanos said it they didnt say it in a good way they were like ****** ass chino!
Also it pisses me of how you mexicans stand by each other even when you are being low class and disgusting.Comment
