Carlos Quintana Still Wants a Paul Williams Trilogy

It didnt need to be immediate then. Quintana was going to fight Shane Mosley but didnt end up happening, he went the Williams route again. Quintana was being offered peanuts, the same he did in the 1st fight even after he won! So he decided to pull out and look for a fight with Mosley or another big name. Then they offered him a little more money, still nothing good, and he decided to do it anyway for some reason. He didnt need to fight Williams again when he did.

Come on man..you making stuff up now...Quintana had no choice but to rematch him...it was in the contract!

I agree, I really think that a 3rd fight goes the distance for another exciting but clear UD win for Carlos. That being said, I wouldn't be shocked if Paul ko'd him again.

u sound like 1 of those guys who said quintana is "just too skilled" fo pw after their first fight, and that he would "always" beat PW...........

in reality, real boxing fans kno that PW got caught overlooking quintana that first fight, got embarrassed, then took care of business in the rematch........

carlos quintana is a decent fighter, just not in the same class as the elite welters....cotto, margarito, williams........

but for 1, i'd rather have seen pw beat the **** outta quintana instead of moving up to take the fight at MW.......i hope he fights that bum in november just to shut guys like you up once and for all......carlos quintana......SMH

Tru dat BUT he did give P Will a rematch eventho he didnt have to (i dont think there was a rematch clause...correct me if i'm wrong)...and after P Will gets thru his fight at MW, he should do his mandatory (Jennings) in early 09, then fight in summer of 09 against Quintana (if he earns it) then Margarito in Sept...el diez y seis to be exact, cause thats the fight i want to see!!!
