If Sergio Mora beats Vernon Forrest again?

I was listening to AM 570 out here in LA California and they had on Forrest and Mora in back to back interviews. Forrest said he was out of shape last fight and took Sergio lightly. He said by the 4th round he was through and was out of gas. Now he's saying he's in great shape and has trained hard for this fight.

So Sergio is going to get a motivated and in shape Vernon Forrest. My question is if Sergio beaTs Forrest again with Forrest in great shape would you consider Mora a legit champion and does he have to potential to be great?

If Mora beats Forrest again it will just confirm to me that Vernon is completely shot.

Jr MW is a terrible division right now. There is basically not an elite fighter in the entire division, so being the champ doesn't mean a great deal. Mora is an ok fighter but I think he would get beat by any top class fighter anywhere near his prime.

      completely agree,

if Vernon loses again it just proves he is completely shot and im sure he will retire, Mora is nothing special, pretty ordinary fighter who caught a good older fighter at the right time, Mora will never be considered great,

Sounds to me like Vernon can't decide whether he undertrained or overtrained for that fight. It just confirms my beliefs that he is generally full of **** and has always been a totally overrated fighter.

I have respect for Sergio sure, but the rematch is needed to assert just where exactly he's at. Forrest clearly gassed out. He basically parachuted out of the fight after a few rounds. So we'll see this weekend what the deal is. I do have respect for Sergio Mora, though 154 lbs is a pretty weak division.

As Scott said, Forrest first says he overtrained, now he says he undertrained, he needs to make up his mind on what he did in his last training camp.

If Mora wins again, it just confirms that Forrest is over the hill and is just an old fighter, I think Mora would lose to most of the top guys at 147 and 160, 154 is a weak division so he can be a titlist there for quite some time if his opponents are picked correctly.

Vernon is full of excuses but still Mora is a mediocre fighter.

He clearly under trained and took Mora lightly the first time. When i spoke with him on *******, he told me that he over trained also but clearly that wasn't the case. His fight with Mora is the only fight that he has came out of shape and has looked horrible in. He couldn't fight past the fourth round and was being out worked. The Forrest that fought Boldimir would have literally murdered Mora like he should have done that time. He was winning the fight by simply throwing punches, so he would annihilate Mora when his boxing game is on key. I see Forrest blowing Mora out this time, 9 rounds maximum.

Mora will beat Forrest again. He was the better fighter by some margin last time out, with Forrest looking old and unable to get off. I don't see what is going to change.

Forest's condition and devotion to the sport is whats going to change, and he also only loss by a majority decision, and that should let you know the skill level of Mora right there. I have re watched the fight over 10 times and its wasn't what Mora was doing at all, it was what Forrest wasn't doing and that was letting his hands go. He under trained because Mora doesn't posses any power and is not all that skilled.
