Mora is not very good I agree, but IMO the reason fighters don't let their hands go is because they can't. I think thats going to be the case again down the stretch and Mora will win again.

His fight with Mora is the only fight that he has came out of shape and has looked horrible in. He couldn't fight past the fourth round and was being out worked. The Forrest that fought Boldimir would have literally murdered Mora like he should have done that time. He was winning the fight by simply throwing punches, so he would annihilate Mora when his boxing game is on key. I see Forrest blowing Mora out this time, 9 rounds maximum.
First saying he overtrained, now saying he undertrained signifies to me that he doesn't really know what went wrong in his last fight, it just makes me think he's an old fighter at this point.

Just look at his fight a few months before Mora against Pichiliro, He let his hands go, had the energy to do it consistently and he boxed beautifully. There is nothing wrong with Vernon other than himself. He only won the title a year ago and he looked like he was still in his prime against Boldimir.

Seems to me like he just hasn't found the right excuse yet and is just throwing different ones out there. Just look at his body when he fought Mora, he was the biggest he has ever been and his shorts was pulled up way above his waist, which clearly indicated that he was hiding a gut.

We'll see, but even a fighter who is out of shape and hiding a gut shouldn't have been unable to pull the trigger like he did.

Thats the thing, he only had the energy to pull the trigger for those first four rounds until he ran out of gas. Notice how none of those earlier rounds were scored for Mora? If Forrest is in shape, then he stops Mora IMO. He was just landing huge bombs anytime he wanted to. Mora is average( at best) but Forrest even at this stage is on another level.

Mora isn't that good, I'll agree on that and Forrest definitely is the more talented fighter of the two but an out of shape fighter should not have gassed or been unable to pull the trigger like he was unable to do, even if a fighter is out of shape, there's no reason for him to be gassed that badly after 4 rounds, especially one that has been a professional for 16 years, he should know how to handle those situations.

And now that he says he undertrained when he first said he overtrained to me means that he doesn't know what went wrong in the first fight.

These things lead me to believe that he's an old fighter but you could be right, it'll all be answered this weekend.

So Sergio is going to get a motivated and in shape Vernon Forrest. My question is if Sergio beaTs Forrest again with Forrest in great shape would you consider Mora a legit champion and does he have to potential to be great?
Forrest is like 38 years old. Mora's win won't confirm anything except that its time for Forrest to hang up the gloves.
