Boxing could be split into two leagues crazy idea and i will probably get lambasted for it but here goes

league 1 for the aggresive blood and guts warriors that are interested in standing toe to toe


and a league for the slicksters like Guzman,PBF,etc


i wonder where all the money would be made i suggest the blood and guts warriors league the slicksters league would get far less viewers IMO

and maybe this would enhance the chances of the top fighter in each league to be more dominent because of the lack of clash between styles etc

Any non major bout in the slickster league would not get watched. Blood & Guts league would eclipse it.

The clash of stlyles is what I enjoy about boxing.

And sometimes when you have two aggressive fighters against each other, or two slick fighters against each other, one of them will switch to a different style anyway, like the Diaz-Katsidis fight.

exactly. Lots of guys switch it up based on who they're fighting (think Cotto turning into a pbf wannabe against margarito, etc.).

how about the wbc , wba , ibf and wbo all join together to one big org and form 4 leagues?

west - north america
north - europe
south - south america and africa
east - asia and oceania

each will have a champion and every year the 4 fights each other for the chance to fight the world champion.

it doesn't make sense to you?

i'm not saying they fight in some tournament. just have one org with several regional orgs.

the only ones that fight in a tournament is the regional champs for the right to be the next mandatory for the world champ.
