Unbeaten Carl "The Cobra" Froch (23-0, 19KOs) knows that he will never land his dream fight with Joe Calzaghe, instead he's set his sights on another big opponent - WBA super middleweight champ Mikkel Kessler (40-1, 30KOs). Kessler has a fight on October 25 with Danilo Haussler. Froch would like more than anything to face Kessler in the near future. [details]

I would like to see this fight, think its very evenly matched and wouldnt really put money on either man scoring a clear win -
Haha Froch sounds a bit ****y there talking about his "famous uppercut" and how Kessler would be puzzled by his "angles".
This would be an interesting one but i'd have to give the edge to Kessler.Comment

froch is a very good fighter, but he keeps his left hand very low and kessler would hit him all night with his straight right.
also froch has not been in with that good qaulity of fighter whereas kessler has fough clazaghe and gave him a good fight even with a inujured right hand.Comment

lol Froch comes out with some crazy analogies. But why is he telling Kessler how hes going to beat him? I feel sorry for Kessler now. Froch has turned his attention to him like a stalker, but at least JC is breathing a sigh of relief. Too much attention from a man is probably uncomfortable i would imagine.
But its been ages since Froch fought. I thought in the olden days boxers used to fight at least 2 times a year, sometimes 3 times.
Whats going on with Froch?Comment

To everyone who is saying its an even fight.
Froch got dominated for the first seven rounds by Westerman a fighter 15-6. And he landed a lucky punch and got the win.Comment

Westerman won some rounds off a flat Carl Froch. Carl had a bicep injury during the fight but eventually took control over the middle rounds and knocked Westerman out. No lucky punch. It was more of Froch grinding out a win than a lucky punch.Last edited by Froch You; 09-11-2008, 08:53 AM.Comment
