I honestly LOL'd when I found out. But in principle I agree with you - we should be cheering for prospects to turn into future mega stars as it ultimately helps our sport.

Too many haters on this site want to see all the young talents like Khan, Gamboa, etc. lose and get exposed. Often times they are nuthuggers that just fear their favorite fighter could eventially get schooled by one of these young cats.

I was semi surprised, maybe he still needed more seasoning. It would be good to see him back in the ring, he seems like another talented fighter.

I think most ppl kind of found it funny when it happened but still would have rathered it didn't.

I think one of the main reasons people found it funny is so many people saw this coming a mile away. Khan is extremely chinny and he was a KO waiting to happen but some people simply tried to deny this factv. I think that's what it is more then anything else.

DAVID HAYE BECAME THE GREATEST CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMP OF HIS TIME BUT HE IS NOT A SUPERSTAR.

This is the problem boxing has. It isnt self-sufficient. It's a dying sport that doesnt have the interest where good fighters will DRAW PUBLIC ATTENTION.

Therefore when a fighter like Amir Khan who actually keeps people watching this sport gets knocked out, its a huge blow for boxing worldwide.

Amir Khan is a phenomenol boxer. He just needs to work on his defense.

Say what you like about his ****ty chin but theres no denying his offense talent.

He has talent sure, but he has a long way to go. If anything the Khan experience should show everybody that this is a tough game and there are lots of tough opponents out there. He needs to take it much slower. Putting him in against dangerous guys like that on a regular basis could completely ruin him.
