Hopefully through coming here they become aware of the wider world of boxing and start looking at others. That's exactly what happened to me, now I like two fighters, Calzaghe AND Kessler!

I am trying to learn, and discover new fighters outside my National fighters. It is a main reason i decided to join a forum, and learn more. I have only been watching boxing a few years, but have the eagerness to learn more about this great sport.

Not to be a d*ck but.. I think the British and Mexican fans are the most frequent offenders of this follow only one or two fighters topic. I'd say the Armenian fans too but there are really only 2 or 3 of those guys.

You don't frequently see a Calzaghe fan posting on a JMM/Pac thread and you don't frequently see a VIVA-like poster weighing in on a Calzaghe/Pavlik thread.

are fans of 1 or few fighters , and never bother with other threads unless it is about or mentions their fighter. sad really, they are missing out on so much.

Floyd and Pac have the worst fans who claim to be boxing fans. for example, after Vazquez/Marquez III occurred, you would think that thats what they would be talking about, but no, they came right back to make a thread crying about how Floyd gets mistreated and criticized.

I like Kessler, Mayorga, the Klitschkos, Povetkin, Jirov, Dimitrenko etc. so I like quite alot of fighters.

This ain't nothin new homey. There are fight fans and fighters' fanboys. It happens all the time. If it don't involve their guy, a lotta cats don't care.
