obviously, marco wanted the best of japanese fighters before engaging in a title match. he want to have some tune-up fights. when both barerra and valero subdued all japanese hopefuls including chefs, the two will collide as the undisputed "japanese chef slayers".

I wouldn't mind seein MAB fight again just to see him go out wit a win. Even if it's just feedin him a bum, **** it. But no more than that. I don't wanna see him end up gettin ****ed up bad.

Cant blame the guy for wanting to take on somebody he can beat, and collecting a strap for it. Hell, if I was in his position I would probably attempt a full run at LW.
It would definitely suck to see him get his ass beat by somebody who is inferior to him, overall, as a fighter.
