I will take all these guys best wins over anything Calzaghe has done in his entire career...
JMM should, in my opinion, be in the #1 spot. I don't care if he "loses" to Pacman 20 times in a row, he's the better fighter and much more highly skilled.

Vasquez should be at about #4, right behind Pacman and Calzaghe, in that order.

Pavlik doesn't belong in the top 5 just yet...close, but not just yet.

Vazquez, good resume, but split a trilogy with an undersized bantamweight. Not sure that outweighs Kessler and Hopkins.
Margarito, I mean, really... are you ****ing kidding me? Loss to Williams fairly recently, and KO'ing Cotto. Cong****, that is one good win to stack up against fairly recent losses against Williams and Santos. I'll take Joey Cal over him.
Pavlik, . Seriously? Taylor and Taylor... you mean that guy who has had like a million controversial decisions and has not looked good once on the top level of the sport? You must be joking.

I don't even ****ing like Joe Calzaghe, and his fans make me borderline hate him, but... really, I don't think there is anyone else in boxing that can make an argument that he is anything other than #2. The idiots who say he is #1 over Pacquiao are even worse than the people who say he is lower than #3.
Although I dont share your 'borderline' hate of him. You otherwise talk a lot on sense.

He should be below #2, but still top 10.

What a post and I agree. Calzaghe is #2 and that's that, if you can't put hate and bias aside that's why people like you don't do the rankings, because there'd be jumbled all the time with in fighting otherwise.

          Good to see such objectivity, some people will just never accept what they don't want to no matter what happens or genuine info their provided to counter their lame biased rants. Example of one, and why that is;

I would bet that Marg at 168 could even rough him up just like he does to Mora (another overated "0" fighter).
Judging a fighter based on nationality and generalising all to be low quality for it. Followed with a clearly laughable ignorant comment of someone of a much lower weight class with significantly less boxing skills just power, which is proven to not be successful against someone like Joe. Nice self exposure of bias, lack of real info/insight and significant ignorance.

Oh Sin, you are very funny.

Now, stretch your mind back a couple of years...recall, America had a super middleweight champion, this guy was the new Tyson, future P4P material for sure, unstoppable, oh, yeah, and he's off to Wales to show this no-skill, fraud, Ottke-alike Calzone, a thing or two about realboxers.

Ding Ding! "We didn't expect this Larry! Calzone is beating the living **** out of Lacy! He's boxing superbly, in fact its one of the best performances we've seen at this level for years. Geez...maybe we were wrong."

Around a year later, there's this Danish guy on a hot streak at SMW. He's won two belts and beat every credible contender at the weight, and looked brilliant doing so. He's young and in his prime, he's #9 on the boxingscene P4P list. Calzaghe made a big mistake choosing this guy for unification, he ain't no Lacy.

Ding Ding! "What do you think Emanuel?" "This is a great performance, Joe Calzaghe is a very special fighter, both these guys are great, maybe even compared with other weight classes, this is a great fight..."

More time passes...Oh Calzaghe's screwed up this time! He's finally taking on an American LEGEND in Bernard Hopkins. Hopkins is coming off great wins over Antonio Tarver and Winky Wright, this is a P4P fighter and the man in his division, Calzaghe's bitten off more than he can chew this time, Hopkins is going to take him to a dark place....plus Calzaghe is moving up in weight...

Ding Ding! "Calzaghe's isn't boxing a smart fight, but his pressure is giving Bernard real problems, nobody ever pressurised Bernard like this and Bernard is feeling it." Whaddya know, a split decision on American turf!

            Get the picture?

The most overrated fighter and resume in boxing today is Calzaghe's and that's followed very closely by Hatton. British boxing is so pathetic that their best fighter in the last 50 years had to go learn how to box in Canada.

Come on Sin, whose alt are you? I refuse to believe that anyone could actually be so spiritually malformed that they could get as much enjoyment out of posting hate threads on a boxing forum as you do. I mean you must have other interests, right? Hobbies?
