If everyone fought like Mexicans, you'd have some fighters who be good and great, and the others would be treated like Ponce De Leon. In other words, Mexicans fight in all styles just like any other race, but the thread starter fails to realize this, and you might have a few like Viva, Xclown and others acting a bit bigoted with their answers lol.

What exactly is "fighting like a Mexican" in your definition? Salvador Sanchez fought pretty differently from the common conception (very slow starter) yet is considered to be one of the best two Mexican fighters ever. Does he not count for being more a of a boxer type? Barrera and JMM fight as counterpunchers as well.

Think about it. If all the boxers in the world went into the ring with the aggression of mexican fighters how popular would it be? It would surely be on network TV. Ratings would be through the roof. NEWSFLASH, people want to see fighters who have no regard for human life. They want kos and punching. The networks have no regard for cowardly fighting. This is what kills boxing.
