Can one have a glass chin and be a champion?

Khan drops down to every shot he gets.Every fighter will have to suck in some good shots before they win.

Realistically can anyone have a glass chin and still be a champion or once you have a glass chin concentrate on fighting for commonwealth titles?

No, I wouldn't say so, doesn't matter how good your defence is you're in a fight and you will get hit. If you've got a very bad chin it's game over.

Wlad and Haye are not exactly iron chinned.

Wlad is just as bad as Khan, The wind from Sanders punches knocked him down.

Julian Jackson was a 2-division champion for 6 years. Not a great chin by any means but he made up for it with his great punch.

Terry Norris is another very good example.

Wlad is a good example that having a bad chin isn't enough to stop you being a champ.

He changed his style after being stopped for example clinching on the inside and always use the 1-2 to suit his bad chin and look where it has got him, he's the best heavyweight in the world.

If fighters can make these sort of adjustments they can be successful.

Yeah Wlad's chin isn't much better than Khan's but cos he's a massive HW and very defensive, he's a lot harder to hit cleanly. I can see both Khan and Wlad getting ko'd again in the not so distant future.
