its deeper than boxing !!!!!!!!!!!! its all the history we share ........... america was a british colony we created them so there will always be issues same as we have with austrilia ............. we love to get one over on them nearly as much they love gettin one over us !!! we love to take the piss out of each other its a rivalry that will probly last forever ...................... but as much as we love to hate each other when ever the **** hits the fan were always fightin side by side !!!!!!!
Why do most posts on Khan come down to British hate?

Thing is, the people who generalise on the basis of nationality generally could not give a **** about the level of credibility that is attached to their opinion.
I think abadger raised the possibility recently of another forum being created that would be much more heavily regulated. Whilst I enjoy the high traffic level on NSB I think this would be a good idea as it would allow for decent, regulated discussion in the absence of unnecessary flaming and spamming with like a million threads on the same brain-dead topics.Comment

Yep, BPP says 'something is in the works', along the lines of a revamped VIP section. Probably means we all won't qualify to use it!Thing is, the people who generalise on the basis of nationality generally could not give a **** about the level of credibility that is attached to their opinion.

Yeah that would be unfortunate.
To be honest it is the thread topics I find to be more annoying that the ****s on here. Like last night I logged on and I think I counted 8 useless "Kahn is overhyped and got owned, another British overhyped fighter pwn" threads on the front page. I just think these should be deleted upon creation. They add nothing and create unnecessary frustration.Comment

Good posts. I came home tonight to find this thread at 5 pages and thought oooh good, cool. Only to find most of it's ICANTILE doing that exact thing everyones on about. It just doesn't get through and I find it frightening how common it is.
We are all on the same side and there's no reason to plainly dis-respect people based on nationality, it really is not that much better than racism, at the end of the day it's a form of discrimination. It goes round in circles though, a few too many brits bite and start spurting anti American stuff which isn't accurate. The odd observation and opinion on boxing and it's world scene, the behaviours and attitudes of fans around the world is fine but all to often it takes on a new level of plain hating for the sake of it.
A few people need to exercise some demons, it ain't natural to hate so much. Ironically, how about rather than venting your anger at friendly allies on a keyboard, vent it on a boxing bag. More constructive and rewarding. Radical idea hey. Heck I do it.Comment

Most of them threads were created by Wlad Owns TBH.He should be banned for spamming the board.$in is also someone who should not be allowed to post on here.100% of his topics involve xenophobic nonsense.Yeah that would be unfortunate.

I can live with the individual imbeciles, in many ways they provide me with entertainment, but you're absolutely right the repetitive hate filled topics are the most annoying thing. Basically I think everyone here is a points whore (not me, I bet 40k on Katsidis!) and has to have their own thread for everything.Yeah that would be unfortunate.

Alarmingly, P4Pking had a good idea when he suggested we simply have stickied threads for discussing individual fights, which would be a step in the right direction, but I wonder if the number of posters would render them borderline unreadable.Comment

On a serious note, it is absurd that discussing boxing is actually very hard here. There is one basic problem: if you say a boxer is good/ bad someone's feelings always get hurt because they feel you are in competition with them somehow. Thus spews forth hate.Comment
