i defintly wouldnt say exposed but i dont think he is or could be at the top of the division. but hell always be an exciting fighter i think. but not exposed.
Katsidis wasn't "exposed"

Very well said and I couldn't agree more.No shame at all in Michael's performance. He was just in against an opponet who was simply better than him. He still showed amazing heart and balls by sticking in there the full 12 rounds even though he was getting it put on him pretty badly.
His chin is still solid IMO, Diaz layed some serious leather on him and he only looked stunned to me once.Comment

I agree. I have a great deal of respect for Diaz after that fight. I can see him challenging the top lightweights which I could not see a week ago. He fought very impressively. Katsidis may not be the most skilled fighter in the division but he is damn tough to beat.funny well like i said i thought diaz landed more hard shots in the close rounds but yea emphasis on CLOSE so i have no problem with anybody giving mike a couple more rounds than i did! Diaz really impressed me i thought he would win but i didnt think he would win so convincingly he came out with a vengeance!Comment

yea no doubt Katsidis is one tough motha. Too bad it will never happen but a Pacman/Diaz is very interestin to me. I think Pacman would be too much for him but you can never count out a guy like diaz. BTW didnt he callout Pacquiao before??? im a little messed up right now lol i cant remember if it was him...Comment

I agree, Katsidis wasn't exposed at all, I expected Diaz' faster, more accurate punches to be the difference in this fight and it was.
I didn't expect Katsidis to fight the fight he fought though, it's weird to see a guy who's been fighting with his come forward, brawling style trying to outbox the clearly superior boxer in Diaz and his corner was horrible.Comment

Katsidis fought a good fight I thought, but despite his best efforts he still lost, convincingly. I wouldn't say exposed, but he has some things to work on and as flashy as he looks, I see him as a one dimensional boxer. After the stomping Diaz got in his last fight, you'd think attacking the body would of been his game plan from the first round.
As for Diaz, he really did move a step up, maybe a few steps. He had the most to prove after his brutal loss and prove he did. I think he came back much stronger and determined than before.Comment

Diaz isn't an overpowering puncher. His ability to punch so much with some sting is overwhelming. (34-1(17KOs)). Decent yes, but he just works hard get his KOs. I have never really seen Diaz hurt fighters with one punch, accumulation is his game.No shame at all in Michael's performance. He was just in against an opponet who was simply better than him. He still showed amazing heart and balls by sticking in there the full 12 rounds even though he was getting it put on him pretty badly.
His chin is still solid IMO, Diaz layed some serious leather on him and he only looked stunned to me once.Comment
