Katsidis wasn't "exposed"

No shame at all in Michael's performance. He was just in against an opponet who was simply better than him. He still showed amazing heart and balls by sticking in there the full 12 rounds even though he was getting it put on him pretty badly.Yup Katsidis would be a good gatekeeper of the lightweight division...I feel he wasn't himself though, too timid in the early rounds, and didn't go as much to the body like when he went against Casamayor. Still, showed a good account of himself no shame in this loss.
His chin is still solid IMO, Diaz layed some serious leather on him and he only looked stunned to me once.Comment

I think the HBO guys tend to get in a bit of a groove to an extent. Once one fighter starts to win the majority of the early rounds they seem almost biased towards that fighter. Its like they only start to watch what that fighter is doing and all the close rounds just go to them by default. Thats how I saw that one anyway.Comment

That has some truth to it.In the Marg-Cotto fight they seemed to be biased towards Cotto but I think it had more to do with Miguel doing his best work in the early rounds.I think the HBO guys tend to get in a bit of a groove to an extent. If there was something expose, it has to be the body of Diaz. Katsidis was making an impact when he was punching on Juan's body. Katsidis should have done that in the beginning. Campbell did that to beat Diaz.Comment
