I don't see it tbh. I think Hearns could easily outbox Margarito, and I mean easily. And his power would have an effect on Marg, he has a great chin but Hearns had even greater power. I think after 6-8 rounds or so of taking constant punches off Hearns Margarito would start to break and get stopped.

Tommy hearns punching power wouldn't permit Tony to go throtting after the Hitman like he did Cotto. If Tommy hit Marg with a straight right, Margs would life altering experience where he'd be forced to reevaluate life decision and Career moves. Tommy had the power to ko heavyweights and Marg chin isn't on haglers level, so ... Although Tommy chin was suspect, Marg isn't a powerful puncher and nothing he could throw at tommy would be about to ko him in one punch. Also, Tommy had the skills to outbox Marg if he had to.
