Oh absolutely. Lacy is simply not in the class of Kessler, who would destroy him. I would love to see a Kessler-JT fight after Bad Intentions whoops that ass on Nov 15. It'd be a close fight, but I honestly think I would give the edge to Jermain.Yeah thats a fair call...IMO Taylor is definatley the quicker fighter.
However would he be keen on a scrap with Kessler?? How about RJJ or Lacy???
Hmmmm now theres food for thought
He was a dam sight more admirable against Calzaghe than Lacy was!!
I guess we will never know until these fights happen.Comment

Yeah mate I wouldint want to bet my life on it thats for sure!!
Where the hell has Taylor been though...has he had a fight since Pav2??
I agree that Taylor would probably win on points but its a high probability that Kessler would KO him...what do ya reckon??Comment

Yeah, Taylor's had a bit of a layoff. Well deserved after the two fights with Pav though. I really believe Lacy will just be a tuneup for him in November, and provided he wins impressively, I don't see why there couldn't be a push for a fight with Kess. JT's confidence might have been shaken a little from the two losses against Kelly; he really did not believe he could lose. Same could be said for Kess post-Calzaghe. It would be really interesting to see them both be in there against another elite guy for the first time since their respective losses.
Like I said, close fight. But I think that as long as JT doesn't gas, he can use that golden left hand and superior speed to eek out the decision. On the other hand, while a Kess win by KO is certainly a possibility, I also believe that JT has the potential for a knockout of his own. Remember, Kess appeared bothered by Calzaghe's and even Sartisan's punches at certain points in those fights. Taylor clearly has more pop than either of them.
Any way you slice it though, this is a fight I would LOVE to see. Even more than Pavlik-Abraham or Pav-Kess.Comment

I don't very often criticize posters, and I have a very high respect for Mexico.this guy calzage is a coward and a joke and he is just as shameless as mayweather. he only wants to fight old names way past there prime like hopkins and roy jones or up and coming fighters when there not ready like lacy and pavlik. this coward should retire. we dont need cowards in boxing.
Biut if anything could change that feeling, it would be letters like yours, full of antagonism, ignorance, ******ity, crassness, and very low-level thinking.
I don't know Calzaghe, nor do I have any "favourite fighters'. There are those I respect, and those I like, but, apart from Emmanuel Augustus-a first class example of a mismanaged potential world championship career-they all "come-and-go".
Now if you were to "tag-along' and also go.....you'd make us all VERY happy.Comment

I live in Canada, and was living here when Lewis came over with his Mom. He was only a kid, about 13 years old, and had no choice as to where he wanted to live. After representing Canada in the Olympics and winning the gold, he returned to England, to where he was born, and became a pro. Even then, he'd actually had lived longer in England than Canada. He became a Canadian citizen only because he' was living here and his mother became a Canadian citizen too (after 5 years). When he was able to make his own decisions, he returned to England and has been living there ever since, over 20 years.
So although he "holds" Canadian citizenship, he's actually BRITISH.
Not that I care.Comment
