What age should children be before they start watching boxing and take up boxing?

        I dont see a problem at any age to be honest...
        Of course going to see it live is another matter lol

        But yeh a good john ruiz fight always gets my daughter to sleep at night

          i started taking an intrest in boxing about when i was 5........

          then again i wanted to be alot of things that age....a barber, a firefighter, a basketball player, a superhero, yo daddy......

            My boy is 10month and he watches fights with me already, well when he isnt throwing things about lol

            He will be 18 month when he can come into the gym, he watches me hit my bag at home already and jst sits n smiles n its only time he doesnt crawl about tryin to mess things up

              My little brother was just 2 when he first started watching boxing with me. He's now 13 and probably has a better knowledge on the sport then i do.

                Coaches say that its good to start while still in the belly. Pregnant women hate this because of the punches but if you want a winner................

                    My dad got me into watching boxing at a very early age. Like 4 or 5. I loved it and never had any problems from watching it (no violence towards other kids or anything.) As far as when to start the kid in actual boxing, let the kid choose. They will try harder and enjoy it more when they are the ones pushing for it.

                      A few great fighters were pushed by there dad to be boxers and they didn't do that bad as a pro.
