What do yall think, i just got thinking about this after seeing baby Cotto see his daddy take a whoopin. it aint right for a young kid like that to be watching boxing. so what yall think is the right age for kids to start watching and take up boxing?
What age should children be before they start watching boxing and take up boxing?

I wouldnt be comfortable with them watching boxing (or boxing themselves for that matter) until the age of 10.Comment

i started watching the sweet science with my pops when i was about 6-7...i think once a child can fully understand that the sport is about hurting your opponent then they can watch...if they dont yet have the mental capacity to ascertain the brutal details of boxing, then they shouldn't be exposed to it IMOComment

I'm not sure. I have a 1 year old daughter but I'm not sure I'd want her watching boxing with me until she's around 10. Maybe it's different for you since you have boys.Comment

i mean a young kid could watch and go do silly things at school, like hitting classmates and stuff, i think they would need to be at least a bit mature before getting involvedComment
