You're talking about a 16yr old kid with no amateur career fighting grownass men. His basics are at least intact, making a concious effort to try out new things in a fight and at least he avenged his only loss which is more than I can say 4 margarito or marquez

I don't know why xcaret is so angry. I understand the part about phony fans who just like Pac, that part I get.

But if the word Phillipines is in the thread, he starts foaming at the mouth.

Where does this rage come from? Where is the love, xcaret?
I mean bum bum would light you up pretty easy. You have to at least respect pro fighters.

I fully understand about disillusioned fans, but it's no crime in rooting for and cheering on your countrymen.
I mean you do it all the time.

it's funny how xcaret says that why blame the gym? of course they have to. why? because this boxers from the phils dont know that much. they need to be molded properly by a good handler and a world class trainer.

we know the results if a person is not molded properly and that we see in xcaret. his mom and dad never taught him how to be a person that is why he is acting like this here in the forums. his brother and sister in law wants him out of the house. i mean no one wants to be around him because he is not like a human being.

now xcaret who is to blame?

He's right though. Why blame the gym? Boxing is an individual sport so all you can really blame is yourself and your preparation. We see on a regular basis its not necessarily the better trained fighter but the hungrier fighter that wins fights. Look at Vasquez. Marquez was by far a better fighter but Vasquez just wouldn't be denied.

The gym is responsible for guiding a fighter that would otherwise be unschooled in Physiology, technique, etc. They provide sparring partners that can better develop a fighter to cater to his opponent... These are specifics that fighters trust their trainers with.. Most young fighters do not know if they are over trained, undertrained, etc.. They can feel good in the gym and have the confidence that they are in shape but when they hit the ring for a real fight they just may fall short. Banal is an example of a figher ALA claims was accidentally over trained and although he was beating up on his oppenent his body was done. You can try and train yourself and push yourself but fighters need guideline and someone to tell em what to eat, when to eat, when to sleep, when and how to bulk up, etc, etc, etc... trainers make a world of difference and that is why you have your Bersteins, Mayweather Sr.,Ste*****, McGirts, Roachs, Scullys, etc., etc. Because they do make a ton of difference in a fighter aside from the fighters own desire to prepare.

i was going to say the exact thing but u got it first. exactly why fighters need good trainers. it's just like when u are at school u may be the smartest student but u need ur intelligence to be developed in a proper way. u may be smart but when u are taught the wrong way ur intelligence will be put to waste. we all see how great tyson was when the guy who adopted him was on his side. when all that proper molding is gone look at how tyson is right now yes he was still able to be strong and moved on but his mentality is ****ed. everyone needs some guidance in their life. that is why when some people get old and their parents are not on their side who is the next one they go to? sometimes their mentor, their boss, god, whoever they think is a better person than them. i will bet everyone in here if all those young prospects will be trained by world class trainer they will be as great as pacquiao. trust me on that. imagine z gorres being trained by mayweather, aj banal my emmanuel steward, concepcion with roach, bumtista, beristein. imagine that.
