He's from ALA stable of Cebu, so I suggest you don't be super optimistic, that way you won't feel like crap when he faces real competition. By the way, did you also see how Manilenos Galicia and Sismundo got robbed by ALA fighters in their respective fights? Omanz got pummeled from pillar to post and was even deducted points for intentional headbutt and he still managed a draw? Amazing! Even the crowd was booing the decision.

Hope ALA fans won't hide those videos like they are hiding the last Ciso Morales fight video...there's a reason why they showed the fights on delayed telecast, hiding something definitely.

if anything, this shows how weak boxing is in the phillipines...

you expect this piece of **** to become something? fighting a Thailander with 16 losses, 11 by getting ktfo.. and having trouble with him?

he lost to a guy with less then 6 fights and got a UD in a rematch HAHAHA

Baustista's fight isn't even worth considering as a tune-up. ALA boxers choke on Championship fights...why do you think they chose a guy who has only fought 6-rounders his entire carreer for Nietes' defense?

Oh, and too bad I wasn't able to record the fights (waste of harddrive space) but the journeymen Manilenos beat the crap out of ALA's promising boxers and were robbed of clear wins.

If they are the future of Philippine boxing...ugh, I don't even wan't to imagine that scenario.

every filipino has great talent. they just need to be trained by a professional world class trainer.

Of course, if what you'll get from your trainors/managers are a tradition of mediocrity, you may win over overmatched opponents but choke in championship fights where it really counts.

yep i agree. come to think of it manny pacquiao was the only boxer from the philippines who really got lucky to have one of the best trainers in the world plus the best promoter. look at how manny dominated boxing damn even oskie would fight him because of money even if it means oskie to look foolish in the boxing world for fighting a small opponent.

imagine if all our young boxers will be trained properly here in US they will for sure dominate and my friend xcaret might commit suicide. i dont want that to happen.
