It depends how Hopkins wins. If he knocks Pavlik out I'll be shocked and admittedly impressed even though I don't like Hopkins. If he wins another ugly and non fan-friendly decision then I'll pray for Larry Merchant to **** on Hopkins all night in the post fight interview until he retires. Hopkins won't though cause he's too goddamn stubborn.

All it means is the old vet was underestimated and showed why he's a great fighter. Pavlik wouldn't be shamed or discredited for losin to Hopkins, especially at 170. I favor him to win and I'm sure many others do, but ain't nothin wrong wit gettin beat by B-Hop. He'd still have a future at 168 or 160 as long as he can make it. I don't see Bernard knockin him out even if he does win this. A lotta ******ass people probably would jump off the bandwagon and call him exposed and overrated tho, just like they do every unbeaten fighter who loses the 1st time.

Hopkins has never beaten another good fighter by fighting fairly, unless the opponent was a lot smaller.

The only way B-Hop could defeat Pavlik is by resorting to dirty tactics.

Hopkins used no dirty tactics against Tarver and Johnson. I guess you don't rate those two, but the majority does.

He did a lot of holding, headbutting in close and otherwise fighting his usual negative style.

Ask Johnson and Tarver if they received any head butts from Hopkins.

Glen Johnson described the Hopkins fight as the most throughout beating and schooling he has ever taken. No signs of the 'old man' style Hopkins uses now.

The Tarver fight was mainly fought from a distance. There was some clinching but that's bound to happen in a fight with two 40 year old guys.
