If Hopkins Wins? What Will You Think Of Hopkins?

I do think Hopkins will win this one on points. Since it is over 10 rounds. I do think Hopkins power will be way to much for Pavlik aswell. I do think boxing fans fail to understand the difference between a big puncher at 160 and a puncher at 170. Remember Hopkins dropped Calzaghe in the first, he dropped Tarver aswell. His power is good.

But if Hopkins wins does this happen?

- Less **** for Calzaghe. And possibly Kessler could beat Pavlik again after.
- Abraham is the number 1 MW?
- Pavlik drops out of the P4P top 10? Because Hopkins isn't in the top 10.

Bernard ain't got the gas to beat Pavlik, sorry. Kelly's too big to outmuscle on the inside, and his work rate will be impossible for Hopkins to keep up with on the outside. I think he'll gas late and be TKO'd by Pavlik.

Aahhh, the Ring has BHop at #4 p4p. I think Kelly would probably drop out if he loses though, it would be a bad loss.

For Bop, it would be an incredible win and would further cement his legacy. I don't think he is going to pull it off though. I got Pavlik by points in this one based on superior work rate and the power of youth.

I say all the things that work for him at 160 will work against him at 170.....wanna bet?

I won't be at all surprised if Hopkins wins, but I will be very impressed. To be able to be competitive, let alone victorious in these kinds of fights, at 43, is little short of amazing.

Its really a win-win situation for Hopkins, If he wins he further cements his legacy, if he loses so what he is 43.

Hopkins is more than capable of pulling off the upset with his craftiness and boxing ability. Bernard at this stage cannot shock me anymore, his legacy has already been sealed and there is nothing more that he could do to surprise me other than knock Pavlik out.. A win over Pavlik would just simply add on to his greatness. It would be the perfect way to end a hall of fame career. I give Pavlik tons of credit for even taking this fight as its a lose/lose situation for him.

Hopkins could be too experienced for Kelly Pavlik but I think Pavlik will end up being too youthful for Hopkins. We are talking about a 17-18 year age difference here.
