Hypejob Haye is the most overrated fighter in boxing

Fat Toney would have a very good chance against the vulnerable Haye
Toney is so done its a joke. He is the wrong side of 40 and has irreversible weight problems. I know you hate Haye but the one thing you cannot deny is that he has speed, power and is very explosive. He would be just too much for Toney at this stage. A few years back I agree Toney would have has a good chance because of his superior skills but they don't count for much when you are physically completely spent.

If anyone thinks Rahman is, was or will ever be a better boxer than Toney they are dellusional.

My point...Haye is either dellusional or is trying to avoid Toney.

I know you love Haye, but you can't deny that he is overrated, has a glass chin, **** defence, horrible stamina and an amatuerish style.

Toney looked decent against Rahman...He showed he still has the speed and he even hurt Rahman in the 3rd round...If the fight had continued Toney would've won.

I think Toney still has enough left in the tank to beat the overrated hypejob Haye.

I don't love Haye, I wouldn't even class myself a fan. If he fought Klit I would be pulling for Wlad.

I just think Haye's power and speed would be too much for Toney given his old age and weight issues. He lacks the physical capabilities to use his skills in the way he would need to in order to get the better of Haye.

If Toney wasnt such a fat bastard and it was a couple of years before hand
he may be able to teach Haye a thing or to but now and the state Toney's game is in Haye would outwork him outhustle him and **** him..

My input- for what it's worth

I don't know anything about David Haye, but the concensus seems to be that he is fast, strong, a good boxer although nothibng great, a heavy puncher and a very weak chin.

As far as my opinion of James Toney goes, I believe that he's taken far too much punishment in the past 5 years or more, by trying to do what most would regard as the almost impossible.

Which is; that he basically has the dimensions and frame of a middleweight, but has packed on 70 useless lbs of flab which he drags around with him in thering. This HAS to be a negative attribute. So we have had a badly obese middleweight of 5'10" fighting comparative monsters, many of whom have punches heavy enough to KO a normal opponent, but, because of Toney's excessively resilient chin, allow him to take the punches and, using his undeniable skills, either survive or win.

Either way, he generally takes a lot more punishment than he should.

My feeling (I can't call it an opinion) about a Toney-Haye fight is that Haye would be dancing around the slow-footed Toney, peppering him with lefts and rights, whilst Toney wouod patiently move arond in his usual very limited space, keeping Haye in front of him. Toney's main weapon would be to try to time Haye's left, and snap over one of those sudden, very acurate right hands he is so expert with. If Haye's chin is so fragile, then Each of Toney's right hands will get Haye in trouble. Then it's up to Toney to finish him off.

Whether he can or not, I don't know, but I DO feel that Haye's speed will be nullified by Toney's impeccable sense of timing.

All that having been said, however, I bekieve that it's past time for Toney to be thinking about "going into another business. This extremely tough boxing "game" (which is NO game) is for the young only.

Haye should reserve from making any comments until he has actually fought at
                      heavyweight.
The question is out on him to see if he can hang in that division.
