Who Did Roy Jones avoid more?

Ok, well 2 things that I've learned from that post is that
1. You think that a fighter should be judged based upon a fight they had in their mid 30s as if they were in their prime.
2. You think triangle theory is worthwhile
Therefore, you could judge Roy's defeat to Tarver as if it was in his prime, and say that Tarver>Roy.
Because of your belief in triangle theory, you can accept that DM>Hall>Tarver>Roy.
Oh and Sven Ottke>Johnson>Roy Jones

Not my theory whatsoever. I was just stating the point that D struggled with Richard Hall. Mind u Jones fought Hall at the age of 33.Ok, well 2 things that I've learned from that post is that

All I said was that Jones tagged this guy for 11 rounds. Nothing more. And Jones would have beaten D IMO.
And if by avoid u mean unwilling to go fight D in his country then maybe your right. Then again how many fights did D have outside his country?!?!
This again is where people tend to slip. Face it the United States is the Mecca of boxing. This is where the best fighters are at, and where the money is at. A fighter who is unwilling to travel to the US is not an elite fighter, no matter how u look at it>Comment

If you want to put forward an opinion of DM based upon fights that took place after his prime, then the same can be done for Jones. Not my theory whatsoever. I was just stating the point that D struggled with Richard Hall. Mind u Jones fought Hall at the age of 33.

If you want to mention that DM struggled after his prime with a guy that Jones beat, then we can certainly mention that Jones lost to someone after his prime that DM beat.
I think Jones would beat DM, and the fight would be a one-sided decision.
As for the rest of your comments, I didn't mention anyone avoiding anyone, did I? Not sure what your "USA rulz" stuff has to do with my post to be honest.
I tend to not bother with such debates. Go and watch some Carlos Monzon fights or something?Comment
