        i dont think he neccessarily avoided calz but definitely dariiusz, b-hop and collins.

        all offered to fight with roy getting 50% or more, roy fought none.

          Did he really avoid Dariusz Michalczewski?

          He would have beat him anyway, I don't think many disagree with that.

          Someone can only avoid someone if they are a legitimite challenge.

          Roy couldn't fight everyone so whoever he fought the people left would be "avoided"

              It's sad because he was skilled enough to beat them all. Nigel Benn would've been the most exciting matchup, but at that time some people believed he was avoiding Michalczewski with the excuse of not going to Germany.

                not really...after Nunn's loss to Toney, he pretty much fell off..i was a huge nunn fan since he was from my area and i was, reluctantly, lookin towards a showdown but the loss to toney sealed it

                      of course not...Nunn was a full time boxer...now if he worked as a mailman during the day, im sure roy woulda got him before toney did...


                      my point basically was, he didnt 'need' to avoid him after the toney loss
