Juan Manuel Marquez is in the middle of his final preparations for his lightweight debut against Joel Casamayor on September 13 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Marquez took such a tough fight for his first fight at 135-pounds to set up a third meeting with Filipino rival Manny Pacquiao in 2009. Marquez says that the entire world knows that he already beat Pacquiao twice and was robbed on the scorecards. [details]

Dude, none of them are saying they got robbed. Kermit went as far as picking Tony to win the fight. JMM is a damn great boxer, but reality is that Pacquiao won both fights. Is not like JMM got robbed. But to say that the whole world knows he won the fight is pathetic and shows how a big sore loser he is.

Ya considering the fight could be argued in favor of both fighters in regards to either the aggressor(Manny), or the more accurate reserved puncher(Marquez), means the debate could never end. It just so happens that Marquez can't stay on his feet in either fight and that turns out to be the deciding factor, and when you have such a close fight, give it to the guy that knocked down his opponent, he deserves it.

Actually, stylewise, Marquez still wouldn't be making that much money because like Floyd, his style doesn't attact many fans. Only the boxing satists can truely appreciate or enjoy watching Marquez. He's too laid back and not aggressive enough unless he really sees his man hurt. Comparing Pacquiao's style with Marquez is like apples n oranges. Even had Pacquiao lost, he'd still be a bigger draw and get better fights stylewise.

Oh ya, and I don't hate Marquez because he's Pacquiao's match of an opponent and Manny has never been able to dominate like he has every other oppoonent. I hate Marquez because of what a lil ***** he is and whiner. First he's ducking and dodging Manny like the plague after their first fight when the rematch was immediately brought up on the table. Personally I feel he was too much of a ***** to go through with another fight so soon after the beating and hell he went through in the first fight. So he outprices his dumbass for way more than he's ever worth at the time. Then Manny's huge again and every top dawg wants to fight him, then Marquez comes out of the woods to talk fight again. Ya know, enough with Marquez, the guy is a great fighter with lousy management/career decisions.

Pac couldn't beat Morales the first time. He couldn't beat Marquez either. The one whinning is you. Marquez new he should of gotten more money against Pacquiao. He wants another match with Pacquiao even giving up weight and Marquez is a *****, lol. Pacquiao chose an easier opponet for his first fight at lightweight. Even Pacquiao countrymen Donaire thought Pacquiao lost. Most all reporters had Marquez winning. So yes, Marquez has the right to say he was robbed or that he beat Pacquiao twice.

JMM won the 2nd fight imo. i feel it is not really even all that arguable.

I had watched the fight again yesterday and came to realize he never put Pac in any trouble and the round JMM won were very close (Except the round where he got Pac cut). The most of the rounds Pac won were unanimous.
