I can understand how someone would have it 7-5, because it was fairly close, but it didn't deserve a split decision, especially considering the knockdown.

I disliked that Hopkins-Calzaghe involved 3 American judges and an American ref. I think they should be from neutral countries
    .

As someone pointed out before, Cortez was somewhat pro-Hatton when he fought Castillo. I think Cortez is just a **** ref, simple as that.
thats a disgrace and not on!

there would be ructions if it was the other way around, no wonder someone found a way to give hopkins 114-113 because i certainly didnt!

i think the fight was messy bout it was easy to count the rounds imo

        8-4 calz (115-112)

hopkins also got a big breather to win the 10th round after the 'low blow incident'. calz slapping style looked messy but it seemed at least he was trying to put punches together and came forward while hopkins was hit and hug.

Even thought you didn't ask me, I had it 114-113 Calzaghe.

It was a close fight and your scorecard proves it.Think about it,with three American Judges Calzaghe still recieved the decision.I think that is a step forward for American bias.

I don't think American judges are bad, I just think they should make sure that there is less chance of bias. Same guys for fights in the UK.

By the way, the UK judge in the first Lewis-Holyfield fight scored it a draw. I think judges who score badly are more likely to do so because a promoter has made it worth their while rather than because they are biased in favour of their countrymen.
