All i wanted to say is it is NOT ok to beat up old people. no one in history was ever considered truly great beating up old people and if you are 37 and an accomplished fighter you DON'T HAVE TO go around taking rematches, that would be like the story of that guy who won 10 millions in Vegas but had to comeback and ended up naked.
The same way Lewis didn't have to fight Vitali, Vitali doesn't have to fight the overweight rabbit punching bum...

Hard to criticize him for that. He was busted up bad and still gave Lennnox all he could handle. It just sucks for him his definin moment was a fight he lost. That fight got him more shine than the KO's over sanders or Williams.

you and i also both know that he was already scheduled to fight on the undercard and was training for weeks to fight that night.

the fight happened because kirk got injured.

if vitali wasn't prepared for lennox then lennox wasn't prepared for vitali either.

in fact lennox was the one that looked out of shape. he weighed the most ever for that fight i believe.

as far as using the fight to insult vitali , it shouldn't. lennox is top 10 atg at heavy maybe top 5. a loss to him doesn't hurt.

both took the fight on short notice. both were scheduled to fight on the same night. Lewis in the main event and Vitali in an undercard fight. They were both EQUALLY prepared for each other. Lewis was 38 years old and although Vitali was winning the fight, Lewis was doing the damage and was probably gonna end up with the victory as he was coming on strong and vitali was wearing out quicker than Lewis even though he had the age advantage.
