why do people use the Lewis fight to insult Vitali Klitschko?

the man took the fight on a few days notice, against one of the best heavyweights of all time, why do people use the fight to insult Vitali?

people should be crediting him for taking the fight and being a warrior in the ring and a gentleman outside,

it just doesnt seem fair, does it?

I don't criticize him or anything like that but I think it's because he failed to beat a past prime, out of shape Lewis, he also only had 7 days to prepare for Klitschko.

Because Vitali fans run around calling Lewis a ***** and talk **** on him, it works both ways. Personally I feel that Klitschko showed great heart in the fight, and put in a great performance

        Life isn't fair.

I give him full props for what he did, but the stoppage was correct and IMO Lewis would have won anyway. But that is just my opinion and doesn't make it right.

I like Vitali and always thought he was much better than Wlad.

When people bring up vitali to try and discredit Lennox lewis, They both took then fight on short notice but you cannot try to discredit lewis by saying he ran away and retired instead of rematching Vitali.

WLAD OWNS made a lot of threads about the fight and called Lennox Lewis a *****, a coward and things like that,

Lewis would have lost a rematch, he just wasn't motivated after beating Tyson IMO. He always wanted to beat Tyson and he finally did it, so there wasn't anything left for him. Vitali put on a great performance and was very unlucky to get such a bad cut, if not for that he would have won the fight.

Vitali was good i prefer him to Wlad, but Lewis didn't have much time to prepare for Vitali either and the stoppage was correct. Lewis had nothing else to prove after that and it was obvious he was out of shape and getting old so what's the point in taking a rematch to a hungrier younger fighter and getting beaten up when he already has loads of money.

Well, I don't know why it would discredit him, but it is the simple truth.

Lewis probably would've had at least 1 more fight/payday had Klitchko not been around, but because he didn't want to be accused of ducking Klitchko, he didn't fight at all, and instead just waited around to see if Klitchko were going to lose...when he didn't, he finally retired so there would be a title fight. But again...I don't blame him for not wanting to fight Klitchko again. He was 39 years old, tired of training, had plenty of money, and no need to take that risk. Nothing at all chicken**** about that, just smart.

because he keeps on bleating on about it. Also, his resume is so weak, his reputation is built on that defeat.
