Plus Dana White had to put a stop on the Silva-Roy Jones because he feared the backlash of his best fighter losing to an old boxer,

once in a blue moon there's an mma fight that's packed with bloody action but 90% of the time there is just way too much ground humping!!!.. And then most of the guys get so tired in the 2nd/3rd rounds that they can't even knock eachother out with bare fisted flush punches(well, almost barefisted)

Ignorance is bliss.
Of course you won't see the level of pure boxing in an MMA match that you would in a boxing match. First, MMA fighters don't train strictly boxing for their stand-up. Fighters have muay thai, kick boxing, karate, etc. backgrounds.
Secondly, when you have to deal with kicks, knees and takedowns trying to duck and weave like Floyd Mayweather would get you destroyed.
Would Floyd have the best hands in MMA? Yup, but he could be beaten in a strictly stand-up fight. He better learn how to check leg kicks and defend the thai clinch otherwise he would be the one getting knocked out.
An MMA fighter would lose a boxing match and vice versa for boxers. But, one person had it right, an MMA fighter would fare better. Why? Boxing is apart of their training regiment and as mentioned above obviously their technique would be different in a straight boxing match. I don't think many boxers are training jiu jitsu or wrestling.

Oi NuckleHead, see above. 95/100 the MMA fighter gets destroyed in the boxing ring.
Put a big strong, accurate boxer in what is pretty much a street fight ild say the boxer wins maybe 20/100.
Maybe the numbers would be different but your an idiot if you think an MMA fighter would fare better in the othe sport...

Well to me, I feel like there is never a satisfying conclusion to any of the bouts I watch. It usually ends with a lame submission or too often stopped with cuts or injury. It's like anticlimatic the fights. You expect something great to happen after maybe watching an exchange or something, and you get nothing and it leaves an unsatisifying emotion after what you just invest your time into. Plus I also feel like theres too often the lucky chance in MMA of a nobody guy beating a top guy with either getting lucky on the ground or using the cage to their advantage with the other guy caught up next to it. In boxing, when you have a dominant champ such as lets say Kostya Tszyu, prime Felix Trinidad, Tyson, I mean you know who I'm talking about, guys like that who were so dominant, you could predict the result and it almost always happened but in a satisfying way that you would still watch knowing the outcome. Theres just so much more drama in boxing that it leaves any other sport treads behind.

Oh yeah and probably my primary reason I can't watch MMA is because the only exciting parts in a fight are when they are exchanging punches. Except they do it with such a lack of skill it looks like that I'll stick with true fighters that know how to throw a punch and trade more often than not.
