Oscar is a very good boxer and would make Margarito look terrible. Margarito might have enough activity to win some rounds and might come on toward the end but i do not think it would be enough.

Williams against Mosley is a tough fight to call. Williams has the size and activity to give Mosley problems but he is not a great technical boxer. Williams fights inside a lot and tends to get hit to much. I see Mosley winning a tough hard fought (yet clear) decision.

I picked Cotto over Mayorga because Mayorga would not break down Cotto or really wear him out. Mayorga would need to land 1 big shot in my estimation to win, and if that is what I think he needs to win then Cotto has to be the favorite.
Looks like you got em all right, or at least what the majority of eveyone thinks at 52 voters. Shane is barely leading by three, we'll see what happens. Shane got it tough with Floyd first then Paul.

I did put who I picked back in the first round thread at the end before this was made. Floyd's margin on Tito is suprising I figured it would be closer, but I do think it would be a terrible style matchup for Tito.

Mosley-Williams would be a tough fight to call and probably deserves to be the closest margin.

It does make me chuckle to think that it ended up as an Floyd-Oscar final.

This Poll will close in two days.
          My picks.
Pretty self explanatory, except for the Cotto choice.
Cotto is the better fighter, but a prime, hungry in shape Mayorga is a beat that is difficult to deal with. He had a chin like granite, and good power too.
Cotto would not be able to fend him off.

Looks like Shane has taken over against P Will, it was damn close there for a while and Shane was well behind at the beginning as was Cotto. They've both taken over.

I wonder how people will pick the Floyd Oscar matchup. I'd probably say the best Oscar at 147 was the Oscar that fought Quartey, Tito and Shane. He was seasoned at the weight and damn near perfect, although he "lost" to Tito and came up short against Shane. Ironic how he ends up in the finale and Tito and Shane end up fighting for consolation prizes.

I guess cuz I matched him up against Tony, I really thought Tony would get more votes. Makes me wonder how he'd do against Shane.

As for Floyd, we're probably looking at his best showing at 147 being against Hatton.

So when I'm thinking prime vs prime, I'm thinking the Oscar that beat Quartey vs the Floyd that beat Hatton.
