Honestly, I think Shane is overated. A good athlete doesn't count as a good fighter. He is just too damn basic. By the way Puas we may not agree on some things but you come up with really good thread ideas.

After suffering from an early deficit, Shane and Cotto have pulled ahead of Williams and Mayorga. Maweather and Oscar look to be headed to the Championship finale unless things change drastically. Remember, this Prime vs Prime at 147!

One more day and it looks like it will be Oscar vs Floyd, prime for prime at 147, for the championship.

Then it looks like Tito and Tony will go for third.

And, Cotto vs either Paul or Shane for fifth, Shane's only up by one vote right now.

I know Floyd already beat Oscar and Cotto bested Shane, but remember these are mythical matchups when the fighters were at thier very best in the weight class. The Shane and Oscar that faced each other in thier first matchup should be considered.

I'm a big Tito fan but no way he KOs Floyd. Floyd's style would have been nightmare for Tito. I think Oscar might cause Floyd more problems prime for prime though.

It is a really good thread.

I pick Floyd to beat Tito because Tito can be beat by better boxers and I have a hard time seeing Floyd getting steamrolled. Terrible style matchup for Tito.

Oscar is a very good boxer and would make Margarito look terrible. Margarito might have enough activity to win some rounds and might come on toward the end but i do not think it would be enough.

Williams against Mosley is a tough fight to call. Williams has the size and activity to give Mosley problems but he is not a great technical boxer. Williams fights inside a lot and tends to get hit to much. I see Mosley winning a tough hard fought (yet clear) decision.

I picked Cotto over Mayorga because Mayorga would not break down Cotto or really wear him out. Mayorga would need to land 1 big shot in my estimation to win, and if that is what I think he needs to win then Cotto has to be the favorite.
