    Pacman vs Golden boy FACTS!

Alot of people are hating on this fight...what a bunch of idiots!
This has all the makings of another record-breaking mega fight. Fight of the year candidate. All the boycott and complaining bull**** aint gonna matter at all come Dec 6...YOU WILL ALL BE ON A COUCH WITH A BEER IN YOUR HAND WATCHING THIS FIGHT!

Here are some facts on both fighters...

    Manny Pacquiao:
Pacquiao always has serious trouble making weight...and why is that? because that is not his natural weight. He walks around at 145-147 pounds when he is not training. He has alot of speed and super conditioning. He is a big aggressor not very good at countering since he has trouble fighting while going backwards. He always comes forward. There is no quit in Manny. The biggest plus for Manny is his youth, speed, and power! No matter who you put infront of Manny, he will put a serious beating on him!

    Oscar De La Hoya:
He has not made the 147 limit since 2001. Even in his prime he had trouble making weight, he will have to drain himself seriously to make weight. Oscar is a counter puncher, has great boxing skills, and has a good chin. It's no secret that Oscar has always had trouble with speedy guys, & he never did too well against southpaws. Also, Oscar's power is not really there anymore, he is way past his prime, his speed has faded somewhat, and his conditioning has always been a problem since the Sturm fight in 2004. He's known for fading in the late rounds. Oscar is not the same. All the part-time boxing really caught up with him. He will have to work his ass off and make sure he can fight for a full 12 rounds. If Floyd sr. does the right workouts andfinds the right sparring partners for Oscar he may do well. Oscar has a strong will so you can't count him out.

These two styles combined will sure make a great fight...a counter puncher vs a puncher...never fails to entertain.

Sorry to all the bitter MARGO fans...let him finish his unfinished business with Daniel Santos & Paul Williams then maybe he can get another big fight sometime.

It's such an irrelevant fight, some trying to make it something it isn't.

Yes Oscar is passed his prime, but the size difference is still abismal. Manny Pacquiao can't even be called a true lightweight, he only fought one fight there. Manny is doing his thing no criticism for him from my part but Oscar is a major *****.

Maybe I'll watch, if the online stream is of enough quality, if not, til next week when it's on regular hbo.

Manny walks round at 147, and normally boils down to 130 now 135. Some fighters lose twice that to get down to weight. The size difference is ******. It's a totally irrelevant fight i'll sopcast it.

Manny Pacquiao does have trouble making weight. At 130 pounds. At 135 pounds he's grossly undersized, look at the difference between him and David Diaz when they got into the ring. Who fights at their walk-around weight? Nate Campbell walks around at 147-150 but I don't hear anyone calling for him to move up in weight.

If Oscar signs a contract agreeing to that stipulation, it can't be too bull****. Look at Corrales for the third fight with Castillo, he made sure to throw in a stipulation guaranteeing himself extra money if Castillo came in on weight. Look at what happened in the second fight when Castillo didn't make weight, he starched Chico.

Pacquiao also did the same thing in the second fight with Morales because Morales failed to make weight in the previous fight with Raheem. If not for the weight advantage of Morales, perhaps he could have been stopped. Still, it maintains whatever is left of an even playing field and eliminates the possibility of Oscar just showing up above the weight and starching him with impunity.

This has every symptom of a cash-out fight.

Manny only weighs that much because of his legs, we saw him fight Barrera - he didn't look big at all. He's never looked bigger than his opponents, he just weighs more because of his legs.

no matter how you slice it, ultimately this is still david vs goliath. Manny only fought one fight at 135. You can say hes really moving up 17 pounds to meet a fatass oscar whos gonna be struggling to make weight coming DOWN to 147. But I won't lie, come fight night I'll be sitting on a couch with a beer in my hand lol

Bull**** aside this fight totally beats another Margarito snoozer...Pacman is an all out action fighter, a fight with Margarito will have fans unsatisfied asking for their money back, i know i would rather see Oscar vs Manny any day of the week.
