Calzaghe vs Wright - My money definitely on a Calzaghe points win

Hi, Calzaghe would beat Wright with comfortable points decision. Why I think this is simple:

            (1) Calzaghe, like Hopkins is a great defensive boxer who is good at making boxers look bad. Indeed, if you listen to Kessler's post match comments after losing his unbeaten record to Calzaghe he stated that Cazaghe "spoilt" his boxing. This is very much what Hopkins did when he fought Wright and I guess that Calzaghe would do the same.
            (2) Calzaghe at 6ft tall is simply a bigger framed guy than Wright. Winky's best weight is in the 160 range and he looked "fleshy" when he fought at 170. Assuming the 2 fought at 168 it would definitely benefit Calzaghe who is more natural at that sort of weight than Wright as he has fought most of his career there.
            (3) Wright has been relatively inactive versus Joe. Indeed, since Wright fought Hopkins Joe has had 2 fights. This will be 3 by December and Wright will be almost 18 months without a bout. With this in mind, assuming they fought in say March 2009 Wright wuld have been out of the ring almost 2 years and would be very ring rusty.

Feel free to disagree with me but I think the facts are pretty concrete!

By the way, if you are reading this, please do me a favour and visit my website www.calzaghe-fight-news.com Is a fansite I am working on in my spare time which provides loads of facts and stats about Joe as well as news about his upcoming fight with Jones Junior.

            Cheers,
            Gareth

mmmmmmmmm i think calzaghe would win on flash but really, winky wins barely or a draw...

i really think calzaghe is the only man who does have the chance to beat winky in reality though.....

(i mean the 2005-2006 version of winky by the way against the 2007 clazaghe at 168)....god knows how shot they are now....

i think if winky doesnt take the fight as seriously as he should, he gets outpointed 116-112 while putting up a good fight but calzaghe is simply too flashy.....

that was my first thought i like winky and i think he would win because he would land the few better shots. but damn that would be one boring ass fight...
