Joey is havin that Manny Pacqiou effect at his weightclass. Just breakin down older guys or overwhelming lesser quality guys. I mean look at it, both Manny and Joe can be hit, fairly easily. Which is probably why tryin to see either in a real fight is like pullin teeth. Soto and Guzman couldn't get a piece, and Pavlik and Wright are both not even on Joeys radar entirely.

And I think it's like that for a reason, so yeah, I think Winky could have gotten by Joe fairly easily.

joe takes this fight because he could adapt to winky fairly easily imo. u can say a prime winky would take it but thats not true because the calzaghe of 3-4 years ago punched harder and moved alot better than the calzaghe of late.

Winky was very good at 154 lbs, especially against smaller guys like Shane. Real 154 lbers like Feroz were too much for him. So how is he going to fight the best 168 lber of all time?

Hopkins beat Wright. Joe beat Hopkins. Why should Joe now go after Wright? The Pavlik fight, fair enough, I'm fairly sick that that's not Joe's next fight to be honest, but I don't see why Calzaghe should fight Wright, there certainly isn't that much money in it.
