kelley was not a top ranked fighter in the divisions manny was in at the time manny was in them.

kelley didn't fight for 2-3 years after the barrera loss and obviously manny was still at 122 then.

but he is another black american manny wouldn't fight.

. This is almost like you are saying "pac would be better than floyd if he grew up like he did" or vice versa. Fact is, we dont live in an alternate reality where we can say what would happen if X fighter grew up like Y fighter.

Look at Guzman, he grew up likely just as hard as pacman being from the DR and look at his style and the way hes fought, he didint grow up like floyd at all, the only thing they really have in common is their trainers.
Well if you can validate the size difference between the 2 through the fact that they likely weighed the same. Difference being while Manny fighting pro and Mayweather fighting amateur...then why cant I validate the fact that Pacquiao has losses and Mayweather dont through the fact that 1 has extensive amateur experience while other didnt even have a decent trainer until age 23

i think kelley was still a good fighter at the time of the hamed fight..

still a great win for naseem and still a good one for marco.

if he stayed active for another year or so what would you think of his chances against manny?

why you gotta diss the jeepney driver that tied that tire around a tree and forced PAC to punch in 1000 times a day?

i dont care about pacs previous losses at those weights, the losses i care about are the ones where he was a full grown man, losses at 15 or 16, i never care about. Bring up one thread where i start getting on a fighter like margarito or pacman because he lost as a teen.

All Seriousness, I Dont Have Real Problem With Pacman Resume And Who He Should Have Fought. But I'm Starting To Think Horus Had A Point About The Double Standard....

Pacman Must Be Vetted In The Same Way And Criticized Just As Harshly As A Floyd Mayweather, Bernard Hopkins, Or Roy Jones Jr. Truth Be Told He Cant Compare To None Of Those Fighters. He Is Good Fighter, But He Isn't Legendary Atleast Not Yet.

There Is Validity In Questioning Why Didn't He Rematch Jmm Immediately ( I Know Tua, U Pointed Out He Turned It Down And Raheem Did Have A Belt Which Was Won When He Fought Morales I Believe, I Think It Was Vacant) Why He Didn't Fight Raheem, Why He Hasn't Even Mentioned Nate Or Guzman Or Juan Diaz For That Matter. Which I Think He Beats Them All With Guzman Being A Challenge For Him. He Considered #1, He Deserves The Same Pressure As All The Others. I Don't Want To See Him Fight Small And Overmatched Diaz Or Soto. Fight The Winner Of Guzman/campbell Pacman...afterall U Gotta Prove Your The Best P4p

Depends, just like Hamed Kelley still had enough to exploit someone who had a suspect defense. I think pac might be too much, however if Kelly could avoid getting knocked out, he might actually be smart enough to win a desicion.

Im not. It was simply stated that Pacquiao and Mayweather are roughly the same size and likely weighed about the same at any given age so the fact that Pacquiao started his career at 106 at age 16 and made it all the way to 135 is made to be a bigger deal than it actually is.

I agree to a certain extent and have no beef with those inferrences.

What I have a problem with is the inferrences that given the same circumstances floyd would have done as well as Pacquiao had if not better. I doubt Floyd would have been able to capture a 112 world title at age 19 let alone make it all the way to lightweight without a hefty amount of losses without his amateur experience

I missed these fights, can you tell me the results of them since you're wanting to talk about fighters proving themselves against the best their division has to offer.....
