Lets see... Antonio Margarito had a great win over Miguel Cotto and a meaningless fight against Cintron. Makes one good fight.
Pacquiao had won against Marquez, well some say he had not won but its still a great win. Diaz>Cintron.
So Margarito is definately behind Pacquiao. He won't do good versus Clottey this year.
Joe only beat Hopkins and not convincingly.
If Campbell wins against Guzman, he's up there, too.

Cintron is a ko specialist that has only lost to Marg and going into the match there could be arguements that he learned his lesson and improved from the first fight. It didnt work out that way but its definately not meaningless.
I didnt even think of Campbell to be honest, may be another dark horse.

At the present time, Margarito has the lead, with two KO wins over prime-age world titleholders. The stoppage win over Cotto is the biggest win for any fighter in any weight division this year.
But if Pacman defeats Oscar he'll likely win it. The fight with Marquez could have gone either way (I scored it 114-113 for Marquez) and Diaz is not really a world-class fighter. Still, moving up a weight class and winning impressively was an achievement.
If Cristian Mijares fights and impressively defeats either Darchinyan or Montiel, in all fairness he should be given consideration, after his impressive unification fight with Munoz.
If Pavlik KOs Hopkins, he should be considered. If he wins a close decision, he should not.
Wladimir Klitschko will have unified two heavyweight titles and knocked out the two mandatories (Thompson and Povetkin) by the end of the year. Some will balk at the idea, but I think Wlad is having a great year and so deserves consideration.
Although he's one of my favorite fighters, Joe Calzaghe was not impressive enough in his win over Hopkins to warrant serious consideration, but if he knocks out Jones it will be more meaningful. And if Roy Jones defeats Joe by KO that would be a huge win for him!
