Everyone Please Read This Take On Oscar and Others?

This is a must read as its all pretty obvious to me. I think that he is doing it for Mexico. I think that he's fighting Pac in hopes to finally getting the Mexican love. I heard some people on this board say that Oscar is a fool because Mexicans dont even like him.

Dont you get it guys? Thats the point. He's never been liked by his own heritage and I think people just breeze over that fact but it really hurts him. They dont like him because of his celeberity and the whole JCC stuff, and maybe some Vargas stuff.

I think it popped in Oscar's head that this is it. This is his last fight and the one fight that can finally get the Mexican fans back for him is the Pac fight. Im not saying its true but I bet anything thats his thinking. He doesnt want to retire and not be loved by them. It eats him up more then you guys know. He's hurt bad over it.

People keep talking about Oscar being scared of Margarito but I say "Hell No". Stop being haters guys and just saying things just to say it. Oscar fought Hopkins at MW but yet he's scared to fight Margarito at WW? I bet anything that Oscar thinks he can beat Margarito. The problem is that if he fought Margarito then it would be just like the Chavez scenerio. Mexicans would all root against him and hate him no matter if he won or lost. Why cant anyone see this. People act like that **** isnt a big deal but it is. What if all black people thought Floyd, Hopkins, RJ, or any other popular black guy was a Uncle Tom? What if they were loved by everyone except for black people. You dont think that would really hurt them? Now you want them to finish there career by fighting the #1 famous black guy in the game right now? Its like the Frazier-Ali situation. Oscar is the uncle tom Frazier which clearly wasnt true while Margarito is the Mexican hero like Ali was to black people. No Mexican would root for Oscar and he will forever be a cast off.

Imagine living the rest of your life not being accepted by your own people? Imagine dying like that? It was said that Frazier never got over it and even poked fun of Ali when he got bad off strictly because he had so much bitterness still in him for what Ali did to him. Its the same with Oscar. He would be forever sad and bitter inside. Now he see's Pac killing all the Mexican fighters and he thinks that this is his chance. He thinks that this is the only way he can get them on his side. Beating Floyd wont do that and beating Margarito definatly wont do that. The only other guy he may couldve fought to get them back was Cotto but he cant do that now since Margarito beat him and became a Mexican legend. The Mexicans are the #1 people calling Oscar a fraud for not fighting Margarito. How do you think that makes him feel? This isnt about boxing. This is about life & heritage.

He didnt even want to fight Cotto 1st because of his wife. When we hear stuff like that we automatically call guy's *****'s and think there just using it as an excuse but really think about it. Its almost just like his situation. If Cotto was undefeated and the biggest star in boxing but Milli's husband beat him then people in PR would hate Milli. They would always look at her funny and call her a traitor for dating him. A Mexican that beat there guy. That **** is real and people glance over it like its a joke. He finally starting to change and accept the fight for the same reason why he's fighting Pac now. Because he felt that the Cotto fight was the only way to get his people back before he leaves because once he's gone that what other chance will he ever really have again? Mexicans should be ashamed of themselves anyway. Oscar's not much different then SRL and black people loved him. I know there's more to it then that but still.

Seriously, has Oscar ever did anything like this? Everyone is clowning him about the fight and he wont hear it at all. This is huge to him. The sad part is that the people still wont get it and it will end up probably backfiring on him because even the Mexicans wont give him respect if he wins and worst of all, he may lose anyway. Then his legacy is ruined. Floyd, Tito, or anyone could come to Oscar right now and say that they will give Oscar anything he wants money wise and he still wouldnt take it. He's got the blinders on. This is for his self legacy. Its about Mexicans now. Why do you think he says "Never" when it comes to Margarito. Come on now, dont play Oscar like a chump. Before the Margarito-Cotto fight, pretty much everyone wouldve said that Cotto would give Oscar more hell then Margarito but even then he was willing to fight Cotto but not Margarito. It has nothing to do with fear. Its much deeper then that but no one acts like they get it. On top of that he gets a chance to destroy Arum's #1 guy which would just put the icing on the cake for Oscar. The guy doesnt want to live the rest of his life like this and I bet anything that he would give back everything to just once recieve the love that Margarito, Morales, MAB, JMM, Vasquez, and all the other guys get from Mexico

mexicans dont give a crap about pacquiao, they barely know the guy
its a good move taking out arum number 1 guy but he is doing it at the cost of his legacy

If money isn't such a big deal, why was there such disagreement over whether or not it should be a 70/30 split?

Yes, Oscar fought the best in the past, but I'd say that he's more of a businessman now than he was then, and he's also older. Look at all the great fighters who simply didn't have the same heart once they got old. That's how DLH is now IMO. His limited number of fights in the past few years suggest that he doesn't love competing as much as he once did.

Yeah this is exactly the same way I see it. If you back in time and watch his fights you can actually see the transformation from the hungry fighter that just wanted blood to the calculated businessman who sees dollar signs. I still love him though. So many of his fights have been great to watch.

Dont get me wrong, Its still a business and at the end of the day he is still the #1 guy in boxing. People act like Oscar robs people and he does a little but the fact is that you are going to make by far your biggest pay day with him so thats why he does that. Why give 50/50 when he is the draw?

Sure Oscar has slowed but you guys have to remember that he did lose some fights. Thats what takes it out of you, not the money. Once he started losing and the talent slips some then you lose some of the love for it and its not like he was one of those guys that needed to fight for money. Also, it goes back to the Mexican thing again. Him being hated so much also made him lose some love for it.

You cant tell me though that if Margarito was a guy he could fight and he knew that it would get love by the Mexicans that he wouldnt do it. He would be all over that fight and you know it. He just knows that it wont be like that and in fact it will get 10x worse.

Mexicans in Mexico say he ain't Mexican or that im not Mexican.

There probably mad cause they can't be called Chicano. j/k

I honestly think this fight was made possable by the media and the pac nutthuggers.

I recall Delahoya on camera laughing off the question if he'd fight Pacquiao. He saw that people were willing to pay to see him fight Pacquiao so he takes it.

Sad what he is doing to Marquez. Hopfully after the Pacquiao fight he fights Marquez next.

lmao @ doing it for mexico. he's doing it for the all might dollar and the fact that history will only show he beat the P4P #1 fighter at the time, not someone grossly smaller than him.

Yea I'm just confuse why some mexican hardcore fans don't like their own man. Heck I'm not a mexican and I like oscar before and now regardless of how much he earns. Win or loose I really don't care how much a fighter will have(not my business). I just want him execute the way he usually does. Are you guys jealous or just wanted to push oscar more to the limit?
