Wow, bold statement. Im a bit taken aback by how people have so much confidence in Williams now. Im still out on my verdict about Williams I still am not convinced he is a threat to the division. Aside from his natural advantages I still think his defense is lacking and he lacks the ability to capitalize on his true potential as of yet. Still you are one of the good posters here and so I respect your opinion. I dont know that Williams has been tested yet vs a power puncher though..so Im thinking this match up is a toss up.

I think his fight with Margarito was test enough against a big puncher, he got hit with some big shots and went nowhere. Julio is even more open defensively than Williams and has a lot of technical flaws.

You know he beat Margarito right? The guy who most consider the man at WW right now. I would say that constitutes a threat to the division wouldn't you.

No man I dont hate Williams at all. He did decision Margarito but I just dont consider Margarito a KO puncher he is more of a volume puncher he chips away at guys resolves and then the cumulative punch count gets the KO for him. Im just saying Williams best 2 fights were Marg and Quintana 2. I think he has great potential but I have yet to see him consistantly dominate vs the best because he has not been in with top guys other than Marg who no one considered a top guy when Williams beat him. I want to see the best vs the best.

Hahaha this is a joke. Cintron and everybody else BACKED OUT of a fight vs Williams for a reason. Same way Margarito is ducking a rematch. Julio vs Williams is a joke Williams would destroy him.
