The fact that this fight is at 147 makes the choice even worse, i think most Mexicans would like to see him take on Marg rather than lame revenge for mexican fighters excuse.

If he takes on Marg in the Azteca stadium next year it would be huge, but its more likely he will opt for Mora (if he gets by Forrest) or maybe even Hatton (if he looks good against Pauli).

As for this fight, just a case of low risk-high reward.

and under sized Steve forbes, and old Julio Cesar Chavez, Hector Camacho, Pernell Whitaker, a controversial SD win over Ike Quartey He fought the German Felix Sturm in Vegas and got a home cooked decision and the only reason he KO Fernando Vargas and Ricardo Mayorga was because Tito had already beat the **** out of them, like in Vargas case that He never recover from the Tito fight.

dream scenario for the closet oscar fan in me:

1) Oscar beats Pacquiao (kinda inevitable anyway) but doesn't ko him or ruin the little tykes body. it would be a travesty if oscar ruined the most exciting fighter of our generation....
2) oscar rematches pbf who is enticed by the payday, and under the tutleage of big floyd sr, pulls out a masterful ud, won mainly on the jab.

3) oscar fights a 12 round war with margarito in azteca stadium in mexico and stops margs in the 12th to prove himself the mexican warrior he has always craved to be recognized as....

I disagree with the bold in #1. No way De la Hoya pulls off anything masterful in a win over PBF. Not saying by some blessing from God he couldn't beat him which I feel he couldn't but it wouldn't be masterful if he did. Funny thing is about #3 that **** could happen doubtful but this is thing closest possibility of being true out of all 3 of your dream scenarios.
