Win or lose, I think a Pacquiao-Hatton fight would still happen sometime in 2009, it's too big a fight for either fighter to miss out on and I don't think Pacquiao really can't lose anything in this fight in terms of marketability, so it'll happen win or lose.
    even if paulie beats ricky?

If you look at Pacquiao-Diaz, Pac is not even a big lightweight. They say he was 147 on the night, but it didn't look like it. Maybe he had a big goat for dinner? We'll have to wait until Viva Mexico is back to find out.

The size difference is just too much. It was too much for Gatti, who is a bigger guy than Pac. I know that Pac is a much better fighter, and Oscar has slipped since then, but I'm worried that it'll just be a repeat of that fight.

The one thing that gives Pac a chance is that he hasn't been KO'd by Tito yet. Normally Oscar will not fight someone unless Trinidad softens them up first, so maybe he's taking Pac lightly

If Malignaggi beats Hatton, of course it wouldn't be as big as it is now.

I think Hatton will win though.

hopefully. hatton-pacquiao is gonna be a better matchup than oscar-manny.

i really don't care for paulie...... you know left hook has personal bias for heavy handed fighters.

Hey Tua, you like many South American fighters? They all seem to be power punchers.

My favourite was Freitas, used to love watching him destroy people. Shame about how his career finished off.

DURAN!!!!! (or is panamanian considered central american?)

right now i like that colombian Torres.

i should probably root for Valero but for some reason i don't care for him too much even though he's my kind of fighter.

I think Marquez's power and Manny's chin is being underrated when I see the "If Marquez was able to rock him with that looping right..." argument. Marquez is fundamentally a counter puncher yet he has put down guys almost as much as Manny has his entire career. Granting he doesn't hit harder with his haymakers than Oscar does with his left hook, I doubt if most of Marquez's opponents could take flush shots to the chin from him as well as Manny has.

Don't get me wrong though. I still think Pac-DLH is still a physical mismatch, but I'm not 100% sold that it would be a certain massacre like a lot of boxing fans here are envisioning. Manny will make this fight worth your precious PPV $$$$$$.
