He has quite a lot of work to do, I wish him the best of success.

Wilder is definitely raw, but that might be a good thing. Because he may not have those bad habits. Plus he could take in that advise like a sponge if he gets with the right people. He probably will need quite a few fights to learn more which is fine. I hope he does well and wish him luck.Comment

At 6'7 guy fighting at cruiserweight?
As long as he feels strong and healthy there, I say turn pro and stay at 200lbs for a while. The division is weak, and winning a belt there would be a good experience before stepping up to heavyweight, where the opposition will be harder.Comment

I hope he really does well cuz he has a daughter with a serious health condition and he really needs the money to take care of her. he just started boxing 3 years ago and has accomplished beyond what was expected of him and he can really turn out great if he keeps at it. I wish him all the best.Comment

Since the money is better at heavyweight, that's the division he'll likely be fighting in. His height and reach will give him an advantage even at heavy. At 6'7 guy fighting at cruiserweight?

agreed Wilder might start at 200 even, but will most likely fill out and add 15+ pounds which isn't a bad thing as he'll need it at Heavyweight.
hopefully he can get in his Pro Debut by the end of the year, but more likely it'll have to wait till 09.Comment

He's taller and has a longer reach than Lennox and Wlad. He's needs to make use of those long arms and develop a better jab.Comment

With everything said. IF Russo turns pro, I guarantee about 5 years down the line, Wilder and Russo fight for a title and Wilder knocks him out. That's just boxing history.Comment
