I don't know about that. This last fight won't suggest the validity of DLH's entire career. Although, I expect DLH to handily defeat Pacquiao. Likely by a decision with some fireworks in it.

This is like Hopkins challenging Hatton and losing. That would completely destroy Hopkins' legacy just like losing to Pacquiao would bury De La Hoya permanently. No matter how old he is or how much he accomplished, you don't lose to people when you have that big of an advantage over them.

If you know anything about boxing, you know this is a mismatch and shouldn't even be allowed to happen. It's not even like a skilled former middleweight (Toney and Roy) going up and beating heavyweights. This is Oscar De La Hoya, who looked as good as ever against the best fighter in the world a year and a half ago, taking on a guy he outweighs by about 30 pounds.

One hook and this thing should be over

Mismatch, possibly. What's the height difference? I've heard of boxers and mma fighters dropping up to 40 pounds just to make a weight class, however, it does appear that Oscar is much larger than Pacquiao, as Hopkins appeared to be much larger than Oscar.

I find it funny when you question the knowledge of anyone that doesn't agree with you. I always get a chuckle.
