    Yeah he was such a damaging beast at that weight. It was definately his prime. I honestly believe that no boxer in history would have been able to hang with him at SMW. Some of the **** he did in there was just a joke.

      Re read the question, "Which has a better chance", not "Who would win"

        Actually I'd pick the younger Joe he has a punchers chance. It doesn't really matter though, he's fighting Roy Jones....

            The older Calzaghe would put up a better fight. both would lose though.

              Bit surprised all the JC huggers aren't in here saying either Joe would eat Roy up. Little disappointed tbh.

                They know it's the exact opposite, Roy beats both of them..

                This Joe would make it more competative thought imo.

                  What do you think of my previous statement? I just think that if you couldn't hurt prime Roy you were completely ****ed, period. He had no respect for you and could just blow you away at any moment. At least past Joe had more pop and may have been able to give Roy something to think about. I just think the current version of Joe gets completely destroyed and stopped early.

                    Problem was, Prime Roy didn't get hit enough to get hurt. So planning on Hurting or Knocking him out was a terrible way to fight him.

                    I think a better chance would be to mix it a bit, box a bit and throw combos. Throwing single shots is no good, He will avoid them and pick you apart;

                    Although, Neither Joe would win I just see this Joe causing him more problems.

                      Joe looked to be faded in his last fight. And he hasn't been able to punch hard for years because of old hand injuries.

                      The Joe Calzaghe who fought Brewer, Sheika and Mitchell was better than the current version, and would KO the current version of Jones.

                      Joe has decided to retire after this fight because he knows he's fading.
