Even thought it would be meaningless....

Put together a card of 3 fights all meaningless in their divisions or at catchweights that you feel would very exciting.....here are my 3

Jermaine Taylor vs Edison Miranda little to no deffense for either fighters and good possibility it will end in a KO

Carlos Baldomir vs Miguel Cotto Baldomir is like a smaller slower version of Margarito

Felix Trinidad vs Glenn Johnson at a catch weight Johnson is easy to hit and Felix is a fan favorite......Lefty

Dude he is easily hit by Pavlik the 1 2 was unstoppable....Winky hit him with ease as well...he picks off punches and can parry but he lets a lot get through and he gets hit with big shots...If he tried moving out of the way instead of always trying to pick off punches he might get hit less....Lefty

I don't know which Glen Johnson you're talking about because the Johnson I know at 175 pounds is a very difficult target to get good shots in at. He doesn't do anything flashy, he just holds his hands properly and keeps his chin tucked and is very hard to catch flush.

I wouldn't say Baldomir is a smaller, slower version of Margarito because Baldomir is 1) bigger, he walks around at approximately 190 pounds and 2) is nowhere near the offensive threat Margarito is. Baldomir is a durable veteran and when in shape can apply sustained pressure but without much pop. His greatest strength is his strength.

Make up your mind, first you say he doesnt have much pop then you say his greatest strength is his strength.

Strength does not equal punching power. Physical strength is one thing, the ability to bully someone around with the strength advantage in close, just being bigger than your opponent.

Punching power is something else, it comes from the snap in a punch. Being strong doesn't mean that you're a big puncher, look at Tommy Hearns or Tito, neither who were particularly physically strong for their divisions but could punch some. Everyone but Domain and his "this street-fighter could be heavyweight champion" threads knows that.

I am well aware of everything you just said. The way you stated that made it seem like you were referring to his punching power. No need for lectures.
